West Virginia Teachers Take Their Story to Union Activists Nationwide

Chicago, Illinois - West Virginia teachers took the story of their successful statewide strike to three thousand union activists attending the biannual Labor Notes conference. At the close of one session, West Virginia teachers Jay O'Neal, Brendan Muckian Bates, and Olivia Morris (2nd, 3rd & 4th from left) led others attendening the conference in singing "Take Me Home, Country Roads." Labor Notes is an organization of rank and file union activists working to revitalize the labor movement.
