Lansing, Michigan - Soldiers erect barbed wire fencing around BioPort Industries, the only manufacturer of anthrax vaccine in the United States. The company failed two federal inspections in 1999 and 2000, and has not produced a single dose of the vaccine since the state of Michigan privatized it in 1998.
