Detroit, Michigan - Hundreds rallied near a McDonald's restaurant in support of a strike by fast food workers who were demanding a raise from their current wages of about $7.40 an hour. The one-day strike was organized by the D15 campaign, which calls for a $15 wage and the right to form a union without management interference.
