Angry Union Members Invade Bush-Cheney Campaign Office to Protest Administration's New Overtime Rules
|
Dearborn, Michigan - October 5, 2004 - About 150 Detroit-area union members visited the Bush-Cheney campaign office in Dearborn to voice their anger over the Administration's new overtime rules, which they say will eliminate overtime pay for many workers. The union members tried to deliver thousands of postcards from Michigan workers protesting the overtime rules, but campaign officials refused to accept them and called police to force them to leave.
