Volunteers Help Low-Income People Prepare Tax Returns

Detroit, Michigan - Volunteers help low-income residents of Wayne County, Michigan prepare their income tax returns at the first of over 50 Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) sites to open throughout the county. LeDene Lewis (left, pink sweater) and Kathy Holka (right, in wheelchair) help Jacqueline Morgan with her tax return. Holka works for the Volunteer Accounting Service Team (VAST) of Michigan and is the supervisor for this site.
