Supporters Rally for Palestinian Threatened with Jail and Deportation

Detroit, Michigan USA - Supporters of Palestinian-American activist Rasmea Odeh (second from left) rallied outside a Federal Courthouse where a federal judge held a status conference on her request for a new trial. In 2015, Odeh was convicted of lying on her 2004 application for U.S. citizenship. But a federal appeals court ordered Judge Gershwin Drain to reconsider the case because he had improperly excluded testimony about Odeh's torture in an Israeli prison.
