Protesters March as Detroit's New Sports/Concert Arena Opens

Detroit, Michigan USA - 12 September 2017 - As the new Little Caesars sports/concert arena opened, people protested the selection of Kid Rock for the arena's inaugural concert. The singer has displayed the Confederate flag at some of his past concerts; protesters felt that was not an appropriate message for the arena, which was partially paid for with taxpayer dollars. A Kid Rock supporter gives the finger to protesters. Besides concerts, the arena will house the Detroit Red Wings and Detroit Pistons teams.
