Guadalupe Mountains National Park, Texas - The Pratt Cabin in McKittrick Canyon. Geologist Wallace Pratt bought much of the land in McKittrick Canyon and built the cabin in 1931. He donated the property to the U.S. government in 1957 for creation of the national park.
