|
Detroit, Michigan - Surrounded by supporters, an immigrant family whose husband is facing deportation has taken sanctuary in a Detroit church. Ded Rranburgaj, 48 (at podium), his wife Flora, 44 (in wheelchair), and their two sons will live at Central United Methodist Church. Church pastor Rev. Jill Zundell said, "Donald Trump, if you want [this] family you will have to go through us." The family is originally from Albania, but has been in the U.S. for 17 years. The government has ordered Ded Rranburgaj deported by January 25. He is the primary caregiver for Flora Rranburgaj, who has multiple sclerosis.
