Archbishop Leads Rosary for Racial Justice

Detroit, Michigan USA - 7 June 2020 - Detroit Catholic Archbishop Allen Vigneron (right) led a rosary for racial justice outside Ste. Anne Basilica. Held by her father Bernardo Conteras, Julietta Contreras, 10 months, got to sit on the archbishop's chair while her mother Janet Contreras read the Second Mystery. The event came after two weeks of protests over the police killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis. Parishioners attending were asked to practice social distancing and wear masks because of the coronavirus pandemic.
