San Acacia, New Mexico - The Rio Grande below the San Acacia Diversion dam. The dam sends water from the Rio Grande into irrigation canals (right of the river).. Much of the state is experiencing extreme drought, and farmers are not getting all the water they need to grow their crops in the desert.
