| Image Description: | Marysville, Kansas - Pony Express Home Station #1, now a museum. The Pony Express delivered mail from Missouri to California in 1860-61. It went out of business when transcontinental telegraph service was established. A "home station" was where riders, as well as horses, were changed. |
