Sculpture of Wyoming Miners

Green River, Wyoming - A sculpture, Shift Change by Bryan Cordova, celebrates the miners who have dug the mineral trona from the mines of southwest Wyoming for over 80 years. A miner with modern equipment is accompanied by a miner from an earlier generation carrying a lantern and wearing a carbide lamp. Trona is refined into soda ash, which is used in a wide variety of products.
