Detroit, Michigan USA - 16 May 2023 - The United States and Canada announced plans for a binational electric vehicle corridor, with DC fast charging stations every 50 miles from Kalamazoo, Michigan to Quebec City, Quebec. Making the announcement at a dock on the Detroit River (with Canada across the river) were Canadian Minister of Transport Omar Alghabra and U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg (not pictured).
