Oil Spill Cleanup

Detroit, Michigan - A crew uses oil control booms and a boat with a giant vacuum cleaner to contain part of an oil spill on the Rouge River. The spill, estimated at tens of thousands of gallons, is the largest in the Great Lakes basin in over a decade. Some of the oil flowed into the Detroit River and then into Lake Erie. Coast Guard officials think the oil may have been intentionally dumped into a storm drain.
