Union Solidarity at American Axle Strike

Hamtramck, Michigan - Union members from all over the United States and some from abroad took time out from a labor conference to join the picket line of strikers at American Axle. The strikers are resisting the company's demand for a wage cut of nearly 50 percent. They were joined on the picket line by hundreds of union members attending the conference of Labor Notes, an independent organization working for a revitalized labor movement.
