Candlelight Vigil in Support of Auto Workers Threatened by Industry Crisis
|
Detroit, Michigan - Religious leaders from Interfaith Worker Justice hold a candlelight vigil at the Labor Legacy Monument in support of auto workers threatened by the crisis in the auto industry. They called on the government to prevent the industry's collapse and the economic devastation that would occur as a result. Joining the vigil were Jonathan Fung, right, a member of the Jesuit Volunteer Corps who works as an organizer for Interfaith Worker Justice, and Rev. Bill Wylie-Kellermann, a United Methodist pastor.
