Protest Corporate Welfare in Toledo

Toledo, Ohio - Workers from DaimlerChrysler Jeep plants in Toledo, Ohio joined with members of the community to protest layoffs that will soon it the Jeep workforce. Jeep has built a new plant in Toledo, which will employ many fewer workers than the one it replaces. Demonstrators said that tax breaks the city gave DaimlerChrysler to stay in Toledo mean that there is not enough money for the city's schools.
