Detroit, Michigan - Environmentalists rally outside the Marathon Petroleum refinery in southwest Detroit to protest the transportation and refining of tar sands oil from Alberta. The Marathon refinery was recently expanded to process tar sands oil, which environmentalists say contributes more to pollution and climate change than conventional crude oil.
