Historic Nike Missile Base in Everglades National Park

Everglades National Park, Florida - An historic Nike Hercules anti-aircraft missle site, 160 miles from the coast of Cuba. The base was operational during the Cold War from 1964 to 1979. Some of the missles based there were equiped with nuclear weapons. Park volunteer Jim Allen leads a tour of the site.
