High School Students Study Water Quality of Rouge River

Northville Twp., Michigan - Students from Horizon High School in Hamtramck, Michigan study the water quality of the Rouge River as part of a national program organized by Earth Force. Tahmina Zaman, 19 (left), and Mazeda Begum, 20 (center), measure the temperature of the water with a thermometer on the end of their rope, as their teacher, Emelia Emerson, watches. Zaman and Begum are immigrants from Bangladesh.
