Detroiters Observe Martin Luther King Jr. Day with March Against War and Injustice

Detroit, Michigan - Hundreds of Detroit residents observed Martin Luther King Jr. Day by marching through downtown in bitterly cold weather. Marchers said the money being spent on the Iraq war would better be spent in American cities. Detroit is currently facing a financial crisis and plans to lay off hundreds of employees and cut city services.
