Five Civilized Tribes Museum

Muskogee, Oklahoma - The Five Civilized Tribes Museum. The museum tells the story of the five tribes--the Choctaw, Cherokee, Muscogee (Creek), Chickasaw, and Seminole--that were forcibly relocated from their Southeastern homes to Oklahoma between 1830 and 1850. This granite bench was originally intended by the Muskogee Nation to be used in the Washington Monument.
